About Darren

Darren is a Blackpool based guitarist, songwriter, performer and educator. who teaches in  the Blackpool and Fylde areas. With over 37 years experience in the music industry both as a player and  teacher he is dedicated to providing friendly and professional guitar lessons tailored to your needs. He offers lessons in the comfort of your own home, making learning convenient and enjoyable. His favourite thing about teaching is sharing my knowledge and seeing the joy others get from playing the guitar.

As a private guitar teacher Darren has taught over five hundred  private students over nearly 20 years, teaching all ages, abilities and many styles.

Darren's background in the music industry is second to none, He is a self taught seasoned professional musician who joined his first band at the age of twelve, performing in school assembly's and bbq's. By the age of thirteen he was jamming once a week with a family friend. Over the years he has performed with many local bands until  one day he decided to form his own band named WAKEN in the band Darren wrote the songs and music  the band then went on to do great things. But sadly split up three years later, He has also been  very active performing, writing and recording.
